Tiffany Haddish Says She Will 'Get Help' After Recent DUI Arrest
After recently being arrested for a DUI, Tiffany Haddish has made a promise to turn her life around.
In a conversation with Entertainment Tonight, the comedian said "This will never happen again," in regards to the arrest last week. Haddish was found asleep behind the wheel of her car while it was running.
"I'm going to get some help so I can learn balance and boundaries," she explained. She shared that her Tesla self-parked when she fell asleep but was blocking part of the street. The Beverly Hills Police Department (BHPD) officers found her and proceeded with the arrest. She also commended the way BHPD handled the incident.
Haddish previously addressed the incident during a stand-up performance in Los Angeles. A crowd member asked her what happened the previous night.
“You tell me,” she replied. "I had prayed to God to send me a man with a job, career, preferably in a uniform, and I answered my prayers."
She was previously arrested for a DUI, January 2022, while in Georgia.
"Subsequent investigation led to Ms. Tiffany Haddish being arrested for Driving Under the Influence," police told PEOPLE at the time. "She was transported to the Fayette County Jail without incident."
