Instead of 'waking and baking', Snoop Dogg wants you to 'wake and make' breakfast.

Rappers Percy 'Master P' Miller and Snoop Dogg are partners-in-cereal. The duo's family-owned company, Broadus Foods, teamed up with Post Consumer Brands to release Snoop Cereal. The cereal brand is a collection of three new varieties, Fruity Hoopz, Cinnamon Toasteez and Frosted Drizzlerz.

The collaboration between the entertainment moguls and Post Consumer Brands is backed by their shared passion for feeding families.

Miller shared in a press release, "We want to make sure kids and kids at heart can have a champion's breakfast. Our motto is the more we make the more we give." He added, "I grew up on WIC, and I am honored and humbled to now own a company with Snoop that can service underprivileged families."

According to the Snoop Cereal website, a portion of all proceeds from the cereal purchases – available in three flavors varieties – supports charity organizations focused on homelessness and needy families, like Door of Hope.

Snoop said in a statement, "Coming from hip hop and being able to produce a product from a family name that my kids, grandkids and beyond will be a part of is a blessing."

"We are making history, and Momma Snoop products are coming next. Working with Post Consumer Brands will guarantee the highest quality, most diverse flavors and best-tasting product on the market. Master P and I are the new Kings of Breakfast Food, " he commented.

The rappers have invested heavily into the marketing and promotion of the new brand. Throughout the first half of the year, Miller hit the ground for press interviews regarding the endeavor. He even tapped Gillie and Wallo for a promotional post and enlisted a street team to giveaway the product for free at Walmart.

The name, "Snoop Cereal," was chosen after legal issues with an anonymous breakfast brand for the original name "Snoop Loopz."

“So they don’t want us to use Snoop Loopz on our cereal box even though that’s my name,” Snoop shared in the caption of an Instagram video that showed himself and Master P showing off boxes of the gluten-free cereal. “We’ve built a national brand and disrupted the cereal industry, we did it with hard work and integrity. I know they’re uncomfortable and scared.”

The cereal brand will hit Walmart shelves on July 15th.
