Gabrielle Union Says Daughter Kaavia Thought Renaissance Tour Was Blue Ivy's
Blue Ivy's "Ivy League" fan base is growing by the minute. The newest retreat is none other than Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade's daughter, Kaavia James.
James went to go see Beyoncé at the singer's special birthday performance in Los Angeles. She was accompanied by her best friend, Crosby, and her mother. When speaking to PEOPLE about her experience taking her daughter to her first concert, Union said James enjoyed herself until she realized Blue Ivy wasn't staying for the entire show.
"I had to explain to her that Blue is only a small part of the concert," she bexplained. "Kaav was there for a Blue Ivy concert, while the rest of us were there for Blue, as well as her mom."
Blue Ivy has captivated an audience of young girls. There have been many videos share dto social media of little girls who get extremely excited when the young star arrives on stage for her dance break with her mother. James was also a part of that fandom.
"So when it was Blue's time to come on, we took them down closer to the stage so she could see, and that was really the only time she was laser-focused," union continued. "She is obsessed with Blue, so Blue comes on and then when she's off and Beyoncé comes back, she's like, 'Where's Blue?'"
She went on to explain that James was very underwhelmed after Blue Ivy left the stage.
"So she had a good time at the Blue Ivy concert, as we've started calling it in our house," Union joked.
