Busta Rhymes Performs On The 'Tonight Show' With His Children
Busta Rhymes recently joined Jimmy Fallon onThe Tonight Show, to perform songs from his newest album, BLOCKBUSTA, but he brought some special guests along with him.
The rapper was joined by three of his children CIE, Trillian, and RAI.
After opening with the project's first track, STATEMENT, he transitioned into LEGACY, where he brought his children on stage. CIE sang the hook of th e song while while Trillian and RAI spit a few bars on the track.
The performances ended with the family embracing one another and RAI yelling into the mic, “Smith legacy, baby!”
Rhymes drooped BLOCKBUSTA in November. The album debuted in the top 10 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart, making it his 10th top 10 album. The project was executive produced by him, Pharrell Williams, Timbaland, and Swizz Beatz. It features artists like Quavo, BIA, Young Thug, Burna Boy, JNR CHOI, Shenseea, Morray, Giggs, and more.
After dropping the album, Rhymes also announced the dates for his 2024 BLOCKBUSTA Tour in support of the album. The 24-stop tour, produced by The Conglomerate Entertainment and Live Nation, begins in March. It will hit major cities like Houston, Miami, Toronto, and Nashville. It will wrap up in his hometown of Brooklyn, NY.
